Food For Skin

BERRIES
- Plums, Blackberries, Blueberries, Strawberries ( Slowing down ageing process & giving more youthful skin )

GREEN TEA
- ( Reduce UV damage & works as an anti-oxidant )

SALMON
- ( Keep skin smooth & soft )

AVOCADO
- ( It soothes skin that is red or irritated )

CARROTS
- ( Can be a natural sunscreen. It also act as antioxidant & collagen )

APPLES
- Follow this phrase. An apple a day keeps the doctor away =D ( It can be use as a home remedy for dark circles too )  

 * Eat more fruits. Drink more water. Sleep well.

Dry Skin On The Face

- Spread 1/2 tablespoon of plain yoghurt on the face and allow to dry for 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.

- Apply pure honey to the face & leave for 20 minutes. Rinse off with cold water.

- Smash banana / papaya & apply on skin. Leave for 20 minutes then rinse.

- Dab olive oil on dry area.

- Mix brown sugar with your normal facial wash as srub.

- Mash the avocado without the seed & apply on skin. Leave for 15 minutes then rinse.

- Mix 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise with 1 teaspoon of baby oil. Put on skin & leave on for 20 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water.

* Drink plenty of water everyday.

Puffy Eyes / Dark Circles

- Put 2 metal spoons into the fridge for 5 minutes. Then put on eyes for 1 minute.

- Soak cotton wool with ice milk and rest it on eyes for 15 minutes.

- Cut 2 slices of potato/apple & place them on eyes for 15 mintues.

- Place hot towel over eyes for 5 minutes.
- Chill teabags in refrigerator & place them on closed eyelids for 5-10 minutes.
- Mix 2 tbs of tomato juice & lemon juice. Apply the mixture on under eyes.

* Get enough sleep is the most important.

Cousin's Make-up Trial On Me

Before we go for the photoshoot session on 10th Oct I guess, she came over to my place today for the trial make-up & hairdo on me. It took around 2 hours or more for her to get both done actually =D

Beauty10Expo @ KLCC

Beauty Expo is back! This time it's @ KLCC. I went there twice since I didnt get to go last year =(  It's actually on the 17th - 20th September. I went for the first round on the 18th with my baby chilli (miss huey wen) LOL

 Got this goodie bag upon registration as make-up artist which Im actually just a make-up grad =.=

 2nd round to the expo was on the last day which is the 20th & went with my girlf. I bought this case for my manicure tools & stuffs.

 All sorts of nails-to-do I bought =D Freaking cheap!

Battery operated nail dryer from magic boo.

Guess what?! These 2 big shampoo bottles are actually from the BUY 1 FREE 2! Freaking cheap & worth right?!?!?!? OMG! I dont find any price or promo like this out there for now. Luckily I didnt miss that booth =D But hell lotsa human there squeezing between each other.

Anyway, I seriously had a great day there with my girlf. We walked from hall 5 to hall 1 and then back to hall 5 LOL if we've got more cash, I guess the 3 hours arent enough for us =)
* The parking @ KLCC is sucks. First hour RM3 and then every subsequent is RM2.50. Just by going to the expo, it cost us RM10.50 already WTS!

It's so random! Out of sudden, I planned to do mani for my sis yesterday night. Before she went to sleep LOL.

Glitter gold french mani on black nails

This should be few days back's post. My ex-classmate, Gillian, dropped by my house for a chit-chat session. Actually, for manicure too =D I decided to do something with black nail polish on her nails since she loves black. So here it is....

Then I coloured the nails tip with glitter gold nail polish & drew two lines on them.

Done! A simple one & she likes it =D

Simple manicure before the interview for job as manicurist

It's my next job offer as a manicurist! This time @ The Strand, Kota Damansara. Actually, I requested from the lady boss that I would like to learn more in knowledge & skills about mani/pedi & spa etc...The good news is she accepted my request & is willing to teach me! But of course with some terms and conditions =)

My next workplace will be here =D

A day before the interview, I did a basic manicure @ home. After removing the nail polish on my nails, I scrubbed front and back of my nails to remove the dead skin cells & dirts. Then I soaked my fingers (more like fingernails) in a bowl of warm water with 2 slices of lemon. This is to remove the excess stain on my nails & the lemon juice helps to protect the nails from discolouration.

So, like usual, I applied a coat of nail strengthener then followed by base coat & the colour of nail polish.

I drew two lines in white on each nails so it turned out to be like this.

I was lazy to think of drawing other design since its already late at night plus they need some time to get dry. So I just did a simple one. Overall, my interview was a success one! I cant wait to start work! =D

Manicure for Raya

Hey peeps! Raya has just passed few days ago. Now im finally free to continue the posting =D I did mani pedi by myself a day before the raya fall. 

As usual, I applied a coat of nail strengthener then the base coat. Few minutes for them to dry. As the picture above shows, I coloured half of my fingernails tip with lime green (not yellow).

A day out dating with my boyf.

It has been quite some time since the last time we went dating. We planned to go out for a date where the only two of us are going. So we headed to klang exec club for buffet dinner first =D

' Haircut & Bazaar Day '

OhMyGod! Just few months didnt go for haircut & now my hair's like so thick & ... So I forced my boyf to bring me go for haircut along with him =D

This is what he did when I was having my hair cut. Damn! Then he went uploading this pic in facebook saying Im a ghost in 'white' with long hair =.=

The AFTER! I love my more-layered hair now. But it's shorter than what I expected =( I just said TRIM but my dont-know-how-many-inches-of-hair GONE!

Bazaar after that. Ohmegod! So many varieties of mouth-watering food. We bought them like nobody's business till 2 pairs of hands seem to be not enough. Malay food = quite awesome XD

The crowds. Whole street was full of malays. Only some chinese like me hunted for food there LOL

Then here we are! Back home. Playing games =)
