A dinner treat @ MyCookBook

This was random =) I suddenly thought of bringing my boyf to somewhere nice & spend for the dinner although he was being ego & insisted to pay for the bill. Haha but whats wrong right if sometimes the girlfriend pays? So anyway after he picked me up from my workplace @ Kota Damansara, we went to MyCookBook @ Giza Mall, just a few mins drive since it's so near. I brought him here because it's a very nice fine dining place. My gf is going to celebrate her 21st birthday here too.
It was saturday night actually and around dinner time, so the place started to get packed. This was their outdoor area.
And their indoor. ( They actually have 3 floors. Another 2 floors are private rooms )
Nice isnt it? ;) I love that.

My Crispy Chicken Roll & Fragrant Rice served with double boiled chicken broth @ RM15.90.
Look! It's just chicken rice right? But it was my 1st time having chicken rice in cylinder shape. Their chicken was fantastic. Crispy at the outside & tender at the inside. Although it's just a small portion but it's worth to try since it's 1 of their chef's specialty. It actually came with a bowl of chicken soup with shimeji mushroom too.
MY King Prawn Noodles in Prawn Bisque Served with 45-min Poached Egg @ Rm26.90.
This was my boyf's order because he loves prawns alot. We can really say it's awesome & taste good. When the waiter wanted to clean up our table, he was like oh, Im not done with the soup, I dont wanna waste. Haha so you can tell how great the soup was =) But to others, they might think it's not so worth since it just came with the kuey teow-like noodles only & nothing much else I guess.
 Mozarella Cheese Balls @ RM8.90.
Topped on the mashed potatoes. I've heard some saying that the TGI's one's even better than this but anyhow, this wasnt that bad either.
Lemongrass JelLo with Fresh Fruit @ RM 9.90. 1 word. Sweet =)

The total bill was just around RM 70. To me it's worth because we enjoyed the food, the place & deco as well. I'll definitely go again next time. Also, the chef has 26 years of experience in the hotel line so can you imagine how good his food is gonna be?
