First Visit To Red Carpet @ Encorp Strand Kota Damansara

I've been working @ The Strand and have never been to the new "Red Carpet Boulevard" before. I decided to go there to have a look yesterday & have my lunch there. As what I expected, the place was indeed a very nice & comfortable place for dining & chilling.
From the outside.
 Their outdoor seats.
'Muzuem' is actually a restaurant & bar.
Menu for food & drinks. Food pricing around 20 - 40 & drinks between 10 and above.
I ordered a plate of chicken & shrimp spaghetti aglio olio & didnt expect the portion was so big as if their food are more for maneater @@
Had a glass of apple juice for my beverage ( they stated there fruit juice but it's more like those apple juice from cans which I firstly thought it's those 100% fresh fruit juice ) Overall I had a very nice lunch over there with cosy environment & friendly services from them =D

1st Round Mother's Day Celebration

We're going to celebrate moms day for 2 rounds. Because brother was not around. So anyway I still decided to ask my family & go for dinner together. Suggested to go this Bone n Pot Steamboat & mom was ok with it so there we went.
Human everywhere already when we reached by 8pm.
Sis & I were actually standing there waiting for a clear table. So packed. Waited for half hour.
Their signature pork bone broth @ RM 15.
Their 5 different sauces.
Snapped pic of this while waiting for the food.
 Sis & I =)
Their fresh prawns @ RM 18 I think. Haha cant really remember the price for every each food we ordered.
Their homemade pork balls @ RM 6.90 for 4 pieces. It's seriously very nice & a must-try for everyone!
Sis ordered 3 types of vege & said scare not enough. I wondered if it's not enough also dont have to order so many veges lar ish.
We had pork slices too.
And their golden bean curd. Besides these, we had noodles, crispy cheese sausages @ RM8.80, fresh chicken slices, pork intestines & etc. Didnt take pic of the rest. Overall the bill was RM 131.40 for just the 4 of us. Had too much till Im the first to be bloated lol. Shouldnt have listen to sis for ordering so much at first. Ended up gotta takeaway the remaining food haha.

Girlfriend's Day

Since it's my off day today, I went out dating with my girlf  @ Tropicana City for lunch & movie. I had some vouchers from Room Eighteen Restaurant so we decided to dine-in over there.
My girlf's one. She ordered this stir-fried hor fun with sliced chicken @ RM9.80 with the voucher that came along with a glass of lemon tea with aloevera. I tried a lil & it's really not bad.
Look. Not much difference right from the above? Food wastage =.= I guess she only had a few spoons only. I told her America no food & her reply was dont have to waste your time using this technique LOL what the heck?
And this was my century egg congee that came with the vegetarian cheong fun as below @ RM 8.80 with my voucher. It's really a flavourful porridge with variety of toppings. The porridge was too much for me so when I finished it, I couldnt finish my vegetarian cheong fun =X
Their vegetarian cheong fun normal priced @ RM 6.80 actually for ala-carte.
Went to watch this movie after lunch. Randomly choosed. A lil scary but hilarious haha. I noticed that it's abit same or related to their previous singapore funny horror movie 'Where got ghost?' Anyway, I had a great time with her today although I waited for her for half an hour as usual because she's ALWAYS late =X

A dinner treat @ MyCookBook

This was random =) I suddenly thought of bringing my boyf to somewhere nice & spend for the dinner although he was being ego & insisted to pay for the bill. Haha but whats wrong right if sometimes the girlfriend pays? So anyway after he picked me up from my workplace @ Kota Damansara, we went to MyCookBook @ Giza Mall, just a few mins drive since it's so near. I brought him here because it's a very nice fine dining place. My gf is going to celebrate her 21st birthday here too.
It was saturday night actually and around dinner time, so the place started to get packed. This was their outdoor area.
And their indoor. ( They actually have 3 floors. Another 2 floors are private rooms )
Nice isnt it? ;) I love that.

My Crispy Chicken Roll & Fragrant Rice served with double boiled chicken broth @ RM15.90.
Look! It's just chicken rice right? But it was my 1st time having chicken rice in cylinder shape. Their chicken was fantastic. Crispy at the outside & tender at the inside. Although it's just a small portion but it's worth to try since it's 1 of their chef's specialty. It actually came with a bowl of chicken soup with shimeji mushroom too.
MY King Prawn Noodles in Prawn Bisque Served with 45-min Poached Egg @ Rm26.90.
This was my boyf's order because he loves prawns alot. We can really say it's awesome & taste good. When the waiter wanted to clean up our table, he was like oh, Im not done with the soup, I dont wanna waste. Haha so you can tell how great the soup was =) But to others, they might think it's not so worth since it just came with the kuey teow-like noodles only & nothing much else I guess.
 Mozarella Cheese Balls @ RM8.90.
Topped on the mashed potatoes. I've heard some saying that the TGI's one's even better than this but anyhow, this wasnt that bad either.
Lemongrass JelLo with Fresh Fruit @ RM 9.90. 1 word. Sweet =)

The total bill was just around RM 70. To me it's worth because we enjoyed the food, the place & deco as well. I'll definitely go again next time. Also, the chef has 26 years of experience in the hotel line so can you imagine how good his food is gonna be?
