Strawberry Manicure

Ok. It was very sudden. I showed my sis a pic of strawberry nail art pedicure yesterday night. I said I can do this design for her next time. Then she was like saying 'okok do it now also can' LOL so I did for her since I was free too.

 Done. I wasnt really satisfied with this cos my drawing s*cks & Im still practicing like crazy.

And this was another strawberry nail art I did today. This time was on my colleague's toenails. A pedicure for her. She asked me to do for her & as a practice for me too =D It was a sudden request from her because I was actually just showing her the pic of my sister's manicure & wanted her to give some comments LOL

* My sis was actually feeling not satisfied because she said I did for colleague's one nicer which is very true. But I wonder why XD Maybe it's because I used different colours.

Mani & Pedi @ Work

Mani pedi mani pedi. My passion is here. Im currently working as a junior manicurist @ Jovial Beauty & Nail Spa which is located at Kota Damansara. Learning more & more everyday! =D These are some pictures of mani pedi I did by myself @ work.

 Basic manicure.

 I love red! So I coloured my nails like this LOL

 This was applied by my colleague. Another type of mani from Gelish. It means gel-like nail polish. It perfoms like gel & applies like nail polish =D

 Then I did this pedicure randomly when I was free that day.

This pedicure was done by my colleague today. Im loving it! My ladyboss was asking her to practice her drawing on my toenails =D

Zebra Nails

Zebra nails? I suddenly thought of doing this design because 1 of my close buddy said she wants me to do for her nails next time LOL.

It's so random! Out of sudden, I planned to do mani for my sis yesterday night. Before she went to sleep LOL.

 Then I drew flowers on each nails followed with a layer of top coat.

Glitter gold french mani on black nails

This should be few days back's post. My ex-classmate, Gillian, dropped by my house for a chit-chat session. Actually, for manicure too =D I decided to do something with black nail polish on her nails since she loves black. So here it is....

Normal black coloured nails.

Then I coloured the nails tip with glitter gold nail polish & drew two lines on them.

Done! A simple one & she likes it =D

Simple manicure before the interview for job as manicurist

It's my next job offer as a manicurist! This time @ The Strand, Kota Damansara. Actually, I requested from the lady boss that I would like to learn more in knowledge & skills about mani/pedi & spa etc...The good news is she accepted my request & is willing to teach me! But of course with some terms and conditions =)

A day before the interview, I did a basic manicure @ home. After removing the nail polish on my nails, I scrubbed front and back of my nails to remove the dead skin cells & dirts. Then I soaked my fingers (more like fingernails) in a bowl of warm water with 2 slices of lemon. This is to remove the excess stain on my nails & the lemon juice helps to protect the nails from discolouration.

So, like usual, I applied a coat of nail strengthener then followed by base coat & the colour of nail polish.

I drew two lines in white on each nails so it turned out to be like this.

I was lazy to think of drawing other design since its already late at night plus they need some time to get dry. So I just did a simple one. Overall, my interview was a success one! I cant wait to start work! =D

Manicure for Raya

Hey peeps! Raya has just passed few days ago. Now im finally free to continue the posting =D I did mani pedi by myself a day before the raya fall. 

As usual, I applied a coat of nail strengthener then the base coat. Few minutes for them to dry. As the picture above shows, I coloured half of my fingernails tip with lime green (not yellow).

I drew some design on my nails and tada!

Done! It looks abit cacat-ed. Yes i know! Im still practicing =D

* Always finish with a layer of top coat for the long-lasting effect!

French Manicure With Red Flowers

I love mani pedi. So why waste $$ to do them when we can do it ourselve?  =)

Here it goes...  

First step as usual. Base coat.

To create french mani, colour your nails with white nail polish at the tip of the fingernails.

After the nails dried up, draw any design you prefer on your nails.

Last one, apply a finishing coat then tada!

Just by using this two nail polishes =D

* Practice makes perfect !

Simple pedicure of mine.

Here's my simple yet cacated look pedi lol.

 First, I applied a nail nutrition coat to nutrify my toenails. I left on for few mintues to dry. Then I applied a coat of nail strengthener to strengthen them. I left on for at least 5 mintues for them to get dry again. After that, I applied two layers of shimmer purple nail polish. You can get it @ The Face Shop with RM 5.90 only. Code number RD304.

Later on, I drew some design on the nails. Then finished it with a layer of top coat & that's it! Done! =D
